The Greatest "Stowe" on Earth
Stowe Theatre Guild is BACK!
After 3 years of sawdust, scaffolding, and squinting at architectural renderings, the HVAC replacement is DONE — and Stowe Theatre Guild is throwing open its beautiful new doors (okay, they're the same old doors) and inviting the entire town to its first annual town talent show, The Greatest Stowe on Earth!
And we want YOU to be in it!
Garage bands. Tap dancers. Yodelers. Kids who can hula hoop until the rest of us feel bad about our motor coordination. Ventriloquists. Magicians. Stand-up comedians. That person who plays the spoons. If you live in Vermont and you've got a talent, we want to see what you've got.
AUDITION DATES + TIMES
- Saturday, March 21 — 2:30–5:30 PM
- Sunday, March 22 — 12:00-3:00 PM

(If you are unable to attend in person, we will accept video submissions to president@stowetheatre.com. They must be received by March 22nd at 3pm.)
THE BIG SHOW (Performance Dates + Times)
- Friday, May 1 at 7pm
- Saturday, May 2 at 7pm
HERE'S WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Auditions are open to all ages and all talents — solo acts, duos, groups (must be family-friendly).
- Sign up, then show up at the theater, sign in at the door, and bring everything you need to perform. (Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present.)
- Each act will have 5 minutes to shine.
- Vocalists, you're welcome to bring a backing track for the audition - we will have a bluetooth speaker available (or a piano for you or an accompanist to play).
Please note that auditions are not a guarantee of a spot in the show. We'll be curating a lineup that reflects the full age range and incredible talent pool of Vermont — so the more variety, the better. If you're being cast in the show, you'll hear from us by March 31st.
